What is Melamine Panel?
Melamine used in the production of melamine doors is an organic compound. It is an industrial chemical substance used in the production of plastic materials. When combined with formaldehyde, it hardens with heat. Melamine contains 66% nitrogen. Its melting point is 345 ° C. Its density is 1.57 g / cm³ and it is soluble in water. How is the Melamine Door Production Process?
Melamine door consists of three main production materials. Seren is the frame part of the melamine door. It consists of 35 × 42 mm massive wood combined with finger joint system. The inner core of the melamine door is made of high-resistance paper honeycomb. Melamine door surface is a melamine material glued on the MDF panel in 4 mm thickness, the desired melamine door pattern or color. Sizing is done before the edge band. Lock and door handle places are opened. Melamine door production steps: Frame nailing using door spars, placing honeycomb filler, pressing the door surface, door sizing, edge banding, opening the lock and door handle, cleaning the door from dust and residues, packaging the door as the last step.

What are the Technical Features of Melamine Panel?
Melamine door thickness is 43 mm (4 mm + 35 mm + 4 mm = 43 mm). It consists of two MDF panels of 4 mm thickness each and a 35 mm thick stile. Edge spars are obtained from spruce or fir wood, resistant to moisture between 10% – 14%. Honeycomb filler made of air-perforated Kraft paper is placed on this frame with reinforced lock and hinge areas. Melamine door surfaces do not require paint. Melamine doors are colored and self-patterned according to their models. Melamine door leaf is prepared in 90 × 209 cm size. However, interior doors can be produced in desired sizes as room and WC doors. It is also possible to produce melamine doors as double wings in the desired width.
